Director, Finance Strategy and Planning

About the role

The Director, Finance Strategy and Planning joins Mastercard’s Worldwide Finance team and reports to the Group Executive, FP&A. This senior position supports the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) in planning, coordination, and communication of finance initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate executive‑level reporting, including CEO Quarterly Operating Reviews.
• Coordinate and support the FLT in developing objectives that align with corporate goals.
• Collaborate with business partners such as Human Resources to ensure process and tool alignment.
• Develop and execute communications throughout Worldwide Finance, including content from the Office of the CFO (OCFO) and the FLT.
• Establish a corporate voice by creating original messaging and style for the FLT.
• Construct presentations with Worldwide Communications and HR for the FLT and company‑wide employee communications.
• Plan and coordinate CFO bi‑weekly staff meetings, all‑hands, and face‑to‑face events, shaping messaging end‑to‑end.
• Support the CFO and Executive Assistant in scheduling internal and external engagements, business trips, and presentation preparation.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with experience supporting executive finance teams.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and align them with corporate strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for organization‑wide messaging.
• Proven track record of managing high‑visibility meetings and presentations.
