About the role

The Director of Educational Outreach leads the outreach and pre‑college programs at Texas A&M International University, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional missions.

Key responsibilities

  • Initiate and implement program marketing strategies and oversee budgetary design and fiscal operations.
  • Present workshops, represent the institution at conferences, and collaborate with community leaders, schools, and professional teaching programs.
  • Develop and manage grants, cultivate education/community relationships, and support undergraduate recruiting initiatives.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, Communication, or Public Administration.
  • At least ten years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience combination).
  • Preferred: Master’s degree, experience in K‑12/higher education, and grant management.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, public speaking, and leadership abilities.
