Director, Division Technology Services

About the role

The Director, Division Technology Services provides strategic leadership for technology and data services across the Division of Administration, reporting to the Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff. This role guides divisional technology strategy, governance, and support while coordinating with campus IT and senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute divisional technology and data strategy aligned with the division’s strategic plan.
• Lead division‑wide initiatives, improve governance, documentation, support pathways, and modernization efforts.
• Serve as primary liaison among division leadership, embedded technology staff, the Division of Information Technology, and senior campus leaders.
• Represent the division in enterprise technology, analytics, security, and platform discussions.
• Provide direct and indirect functional leadership for technology employees, including supervising IT staff in Facilities Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least ten years of professional experience in technology, data, digital services, or related operational functions.
• Five years of experience supervising or managing professional staff.
• Knowledge of information technology strategies and best practices.
• Ability to analyze data and provide insight and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency with Google productivity products.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
