Director, Constituent Operations

About the role

The Jane Goodall Institute seeks a Director of Constituent Operations to lead the strategic oversight of its donor and member data ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of Development Marketing and Operations, this senior leader will shape data architecture, ensure data quality, and drive analytics that support fundraising and engagement goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement strategy and standards for constituent data integrity and revenue operations.
• Lead database modernization, data governance, and confidentiality safeguards.
• Oversee core development functions such as gift processing, prospect research, and pipeline management.
• Drive analytics and reporting to enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
• Manage vendor relationships, budget stewardship, and performance of a direct‑report team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align technology and data strategy with fundraising objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in data strategy, fundraising operations, or development analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams in a nonprofit environment.
• Strong track record of managing vendor contracts and budgets.
• U.S. work authorization at the time of application.
