About the role

New Horizon Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide person‑centered care in a home‑like setting in Great Bend, KS. You will help individuals achieve their personal goals while ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding, and medication administration.
Support clients in leisure, recreational, and community activities, encouraging social interaction.
Implement and follow Person‑Centered Support Plans and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
Document services, incidents, and health information accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe environment and report any concerns or suspected abuse.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including non‑verbal cues.
Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist clients as needed.
Willingness to undergo drug screening, background check, and meet automotive insurance requirements for company vehicle use.
