Direct Care Worker – Part-Time (20 hrs/week)

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide in‑home support for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. This part‑time role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and arrange transportation as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and help with medication reminders.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support general living needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement to promote well‑being.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
