Dining Server

About the role

The Dining Server creates a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests at Brandywine Wall Senior Living. You will take meal orders, serve meals, and assist with special dining requests while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders with a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn and retain residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Set up the dining room with all necessary items (silverware, napkins, menus, condiments, etc.).
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen, and serving stations.
• Ensure safe food handling and assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments.
• Account for all residents during each meal and document attendance.
• Support special events and attend all scheduled in‑service training.
• Comply with all Federal, State, local regulations and community policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in fine‑dining hospitality or full‑service senior‑living environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment.
• Experience working with seniors and physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and use proper body mechanics.
