Digital Media Coordinator

About the role

The Digital Media Coordinator will support the Turbomachinery Laboratory’s digital presence and event platforms. This role ensures the laboratory’s websites, symposium proceedings, and registration systems operate smoothly and reach the intended audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Update and monitor performance of three Turbo Lab websites, ensuring compliance, accessibility, and maintenance.
• Provide primary technical support for website functionality, publication, and availability.
• Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager and Communications Department to create and optimize web pages.
• Manage distribution of symposium proceedings, coordinating with TAMU Library Services and Oaktrust for public access.
• Lead the build, optimization, and technical support of the registration and program submission platform (Aventri).
• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of a mobile app for symposia.
• Continuously improve digital media workflows and repository upkeep.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating digital media and website content for research or academic environments.
• Ability to work closely with senior staff and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple digital platforms.
