Digital M&A Program Manager

About the role

Airbus seeks a Digital Mergers & Acquisitions Lead to anchor North American digital M&A activities. The role focuses on pre‑deal IT strategy, technical due diligence, architectural blueprinting and post‑deal execution across US and Canada entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑deal IT due diligence, risk evaluation and legacy debt identification for M&A, joint ventures and divestitures.
• Shape target architecture blueprints and integration road‑maps to achieve Day‑1 readiness.
• Drive IT financial governance, including budget modelling, synergy estimation and TSA cost scoping.
• Execute regional post‑merger integrations, overseeing software cutovers, cloud migrations and data governance.
• Safeguard customer‑facing platforms and align support portals after close.
• Co‑develop the global Digital M&A Playbook with European HQ and steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IS/IT program management, with experience leading M&A workstreams and multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Strong executive presentation, negotiation and cross‑cultural communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel 30‑40% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Enterprise application suites and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Data migration tools and modern delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).
• Enterprise Architecture, TOGAF, PMP or PMI‑ACP certifications strongly preferred.
• Cybersecurity risk assessment and technical architecture design.
