Digital Content Specialist

About the role

Saint Ignatius College Prep is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join its Communications Department. This full‑time, exempt position will create, manage, and distribute digital content that showcases the school’s mission, programs, and community life across multiple online channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create visual and written content such as photography, videography, graphics, website stories, and email communications that align with brand standards.
• Develop and maintain a library of visual assets and coordinate external photographers, videographers, and vendors.
• Partner with the Director of Communications to design and execute a strategic content plan.
• Manage all institutional social‑media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), maintain a content calendar, and analyze performance metrics.
• Oversee the school’s email platform, design newsletters and announcements, and monitor engagement data.
• Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance while tracking analytics.
• Support cross‑functional communications initiatives and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Full‑time, 12‑month position based on the Chicago campus.
• Ability to collaborate with students, faculty, alumni, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major social‑media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Experience using email communication platforms and managing contact databases.
• Website content‑management experience and familiarity with analytics tools.
