Diesel Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join its Burlington Township service center. You will work the 2nd shift, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily preventive maintenance on diesel engines, including Cummins and Detroit models.
• Perform major repairs on trucks, trailers, lift gates, overhead doors, and forklifts as needed.
• Diagnose and repair air‑conditioning and electrical systems.
• Use the Cetaris system to manage work orders and track maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work independently.
• Own set of professional tools.
• Class A CDL preferred.
