Diesel Mechanic – Class B – Full-Time 3rd Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Class B Diesel Mechanic at its Burlington Township, NJ service center. The mechanic will perform day‑to‑day maintenance on the company’s fleet, including preventative work and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers and, when needed, forklifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on diesel engines of Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Maintain ancillary equipment such as overhead doors, lift gates, dollies and perform welding as required.

Required profile

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ability to handle major diesel repairs and work with AC and electrical systems.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and possession of personal tools.
