Diesel Mechanic – Class B

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Class B) for its Burlington Township, NJ service center. The role involves maintaining and repairing the company’s fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers and related equipment on a third‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on diesel engines of Class 8 trucks.
• Service trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies and perform welding as needed.
• Maintain forklifts and other equipment as required.
• Use the Cetaris system to manage work orders.

Required profile

• Experience in preventive maintenance and diesel engine repairs.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and possess personal tools.
• Capability to handle major repairs and work with AC and electrical systems.
