Diesel Mechanic – 3rd Shift (1 am‑11:30 am)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Diesel Mechanic to join our Troy, NY service center on the 3rd shift (1 am – 11:30 am, Monday‑Friday). You will work on a fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers and related equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, including Cummins and Detroit power units.
• Diagnose and execute major repairs on trucks, trailers, lift gates, dollies, overhead doors and forklifts.
• Service air‑conditioning and electrical systems.
• Complete work orders using the Cetaris system.
• Perform welding and other shop tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with Class 8 equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work safely on a 3rd‑shift schedule.
• Own set of hand and power tools.
• Valid certifications such as LPMECH are a plus.
