About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist on a PRN (as‑needed) basis. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports the radiology department by providing high‑quality imaging services across varying shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring safety and image quality.
- Assist radiologists and clinical staff with patient positioning and preparation.
- Document procedures accurately and adhere to radiation safety standards.
- Respond to emergent imaging needs on a flexible schedule.
Required profile
- Current eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
