DevOps Manager – Cloud Infrastructure Lead

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Manager to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure in a fast‑growing healthcare technology environment. The role combines hands‑on engineering with people leadership, driving reliability, security, and cost efficiency across Azure and AWS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a player‑coach for the DevOps function, contributing to infrastructure design while mentoring a growing team.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Lead cloud modernization initiatives, migrating workloads from Azure‑heavy to AWS‑focused architectures.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure‑as‑code standards to ensure high coverage and consistency.
• Own cloud cost‑optimization programs, identifying and implementing spend‑reduction opportunities.
• Integrate security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, HITRUST) into infrastructure design and deployment.
• Promote adoption of cloud‑native technologies such as Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security leaders to align infrastructure strategy with business goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering with recent hands‑on technical work.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience, preferably in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government).
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HITRUST.
• Demonstrated ability to own end‑to‑end production stability and drive modernization.
