DevOps Manager – CI/CD Engineering

About the role

SailPoint is looking for a CI/CD Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team that drives secure, compliant software delivery for its SaaS identity governance platform. You will shape release velocity, security posture, and compliance standards across a global developer community of over 1,000 engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineers, handling performance reviews and compensation.
• Define and enforce Secure SDLC practices, ensuring automated supply‑chain security controls such as SCA, SAST, SBOM generation, artifact signing, provenance verification, and secrets detection.
• Lead the development and maturation of internal developer platforms (IDPs) that enable developers to ship code securely and meet rigorous testing standards.
• Champion AI security for internal cloud agents, integrating security guardrails into emerging AI‑driven workflows.
• Support more than 250 deployments per week across multiple geographic regions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing DevOps or CI/CD teams in a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of secure software supply‑chain concepts and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to influence engineering culture and drive security best practices.
