DevOps Engineering Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineering Intern to join our infrastructure team in Palo Alto for the 2026 term. You will gain hands‑on experience working with real production systems, contributing to automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure alongside seasoned engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipeline monitoring and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in provisioning and configuring cloud resources under guidance.
• Write scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Maintain and improve internal documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in team stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Explore monitoring dashboards and help investigate system alerts.
• Deliver a scoped intern project with a defined deliverable by the end of the term.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with Linux/Unix command line.
• Exposure to at least one scripting language (Python or Bash preferred).
• Awareness of cloud concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure) through coursework or self‑study.
• Curious, self‑motivated, and comfortable asking questions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
