DevOps Engineer with Java

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Java development expertise to support our banking‑focused projects in Atlanta. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and will run on a long‑term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java applications using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Java services built on Spring and Hibernate.
• Monitor application performance and logs using AWS CloudWatch and the ELK stack.
• Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of banking systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong Java development background with Spring and Hibernate.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
