DevOps Engineer – Remote (USA)

About the role

Cloudbeds is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its fully remote US team. You will help shape the infrastructure that powers a global hospitality platform serving properties in over 150 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and improve Cloudbeds’ AWS infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain the Kubernetes platform (EKS) and Helm charts.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD (GitOps).
• Enhance system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with development teams, sharing DevOps best practices and assisting with environment configuration.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to address production incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience on AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 2+ years working with Kubernetes (preferably EKS), Helm and Docker.
• Strong background in Terraform, CI/CD pipeline design, and GitOps.
• Experience with web servers, databases, caching, and queue technologies.
• Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting and solid networking knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ability to work independently in a global remote team.
