About the role
Lentech, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the NASA Consolidated Applications Platform Services (NCAPS) contract. The role focuses on modernizing and transforming a large portfolio of enterprise solutions used by NASA, requiring strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments across cloud and on‑premises (vSphere) domains.
- Deploy OpenShift to new sites and scale platforms to meet integration requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Security, to ensure compliance and secure solutions.
- Support data services such as RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub Enterprise.
Required profile
- 5–8 years of developer or DevOps experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Proficiency in cloud and hybrid on‑prem solutions, especially AWS.
Required skills
- Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift CLI.
- Kubernetes, Docker, and related CNCF ecosystem tools.
- GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Python, Shell scripting, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
- Knowledge of security/DevSecOps practices and SAFe Agile methodologies.
