DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are designing the grid of the future and need an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. The role will focus on building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, update, and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
• Automate deployment, scaling and monitoring of cloud‑based applications.
• Deploy, manage and support containerized workloads in Kubernetes clusters.
• Configure and support core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS and Lambda.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus and New Relic.
• Apply security best practices, including IAM roles, networking rules and compliance‑driven configurations.
• Collaborate with development, QA and product teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Identify and implement improvements for performance, cost‑efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Proven ability to write, organize and optimise Terraform modules.
• Practical experience supporting Kubernetes workloads.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
