DevOps Engineer

About the role

Blitzy is building an AI‑driven software development platform. As a DevOps Engineer you will design, implement and operate the infrastructure that powers our autonomous AI agents and the production‑ready code they generate. You will work from our Cambridge, MA headquarters and collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high availability, scalability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and scale Kubernetes clusters that run AI agent workloads and customer applications.
• Design and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for application services and AI‑driven workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling and operations using Terraform and Python, with zero manual steps.
• Deploy and manage applications via Helm charts across multiple environments.
• Own the observability stack – monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing – for all production services.
• Develop and operate the infrastructure required for high‑throughput AI agent orchestration.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve developer experience, deployment strategies and operational tooling.
• Continuously improve security, reliability and cost‑efficiency of cloud environments.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes deployment, scaling and operations.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Python for infrastructure as code.
• Hands‑on experience with Helm, monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing tools.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment and collaborate across teams.
