DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Network Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and maintain both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure for latency‑critical trading applications. You will work closely with quantitative research, risk and trading teams to ensure high‑performance, secure and highly available environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) across production, staging and development.
• Manage on‑premise network hardware, Active Directory, Microsoft services, firewalls and security controls.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using CloudFormation, Ansible and scripts written in Python or Bash.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and integrate monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Architect network topology, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs and firewall policies to support high availability and disaster‑recovery.
• Implement security best practices, network segmentation and access controls to meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with trading, quantitative research and risk teams to guarantee low‑latency, reliable infrastructure.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or network engineering, preferably in trading or capital‑markets environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN, firewalls).
• Proficiency in automation scripting with Python and Bash; preference for automated solutions over manual processes.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and network security best practices.
• AWS Professional certification is highly preferred.
