Development Analyst

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Development Analyst to support its development platform by performing financial analyses of development opportunities and assisting in the underwriting and closing of real estate transactions. The role will involve collaboration with brokers, equity partners, and internal leadership across assigned geographic markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and build pro‑forma models for development opportunities.
• Gather and analyze market data, preparing memoranda, reports, and market summaries.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, equity partners, lenders, and other stakeholders, managing communications related to transactions.
• Identify and refer potential acquisitions to senior leadership and assist in preparing pitch materials and RFP responses.
• Lead or participate in due‑diligence activities, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Monitor transaction status, establish timelines, and address issues that could affect closing.

Required profile

• Work experience in real estate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field.

• Financial modeling.
