Designer – Women’s Hard Wovens

About the role

We are seeking a talented Designer to lead the Women’s Hard Wovens line, creating on‑trend, brand‑aligned pieces for each season. You will work closely with the Design Director, Product Development and production teams to bring concepts from sketch to finished product.

Key responsibilities

• Research inspirational imagery, develop hand sketches and presentation boards aligned with the brand direction.
• Conceptualize and produce seasonal collections, managing swatches, trims, and fit from development through production.
• Maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), update design changes, and present CAD layout options and colorways.
• Collaborate with head designer, tech design, patternmakers, and sample room to ensure design intent and fit consistency.
• Communicate design updates to cross‑functional partners, vendors, and factories.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis, translate trends into product development.
• Support trim development, review lab dips, and coordinate design pass‑off to production.
• Mentor design assistants and contribute to line‑sheet development.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women’s apparel.
• College degree in Design.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with strong knowledge of fabrication, construction and mills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong hand‑sketching and computer‑sketching abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD for layout and colorway development.
• Solid understanding of color theory.
• Experience creating and managing BOMs.
• Fit development and sample coordination.
