Design Engineer – Structures (off-Highway)

About the role

ARi is seeking a Design Engineer to develop light‑weight structural components for off‑highway vehicles. You will be involved from concept through to production, applying advanced analysis and design tools to ensure manufacturability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design and verification using Creo, including complex assemblies.
• Conduct weld, bolted‑joint, and FEA analyses to validate strength and durability.
• Develop component placement, top‑down large‑assembly strategies, and manufacturing sequences.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production builds, including audits and design acceptance.
• Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) steps and DFM principles.
• Generate engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and bill of materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of strength of materials, structural design, and end‑to‑end manufacturing processes.
• Experience with vehicle integration and NPI/CPI processes.
• Ability to communicate technical results to customers and suppliers.

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of hydraulic and cooling‑line design (preferred)
