About the role
John Deere is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in hydraulics to join the Agricultural Engineering team. You will work on steering and brake system components for multiple product families, contributing to continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Execute EPDP, continuous improvement and cost‑reduction design projects for steering and brake system parts.
- Perform CREO CAD design space analysis for global machines.
- Model hydraulic components and systems in CREO CAD.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers on cross‑functional interfaces.
- Negotiate with suppliers and support requirements and specifications for design responsibilities.
Required profile
- 1+ years of experience in hydraulics, including reading hydraulic schematics and working with hydraulic components.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
