Design Engineer – Consumer POP Displays

About the role

Outform Group is seeking a Design Engineer to turn approved concepts into manufacturable POP retail displays. The role will deliver complete engineering packages, from ISO drawings to BOMs, while supporting prototypes and supplier collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Produce full engineering release packs across milestone phases (ISO, L&T, 3D/2D releases) and manage Engineering Change Orders.
• Create client‑facing ISO drawings that convey fit, form, function and visual intent.
• Generate detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with proper dimensioning and GD&T, and release accurate BOMs.
• Engineer solutions for manufacturability, assembly, cost efficiency, safety and field durability of POP displays.
• Support prototype builds, first‑article inspections and participate in vendor reviews (travel <10%).
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including parts lists, QC guidelines and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Account, Project Management, Production and Quality teams, providing DFM input and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical, Structural or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in POP display engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks; working knowledge of PDM preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to produce ISO drawings and apply GD&T.
• Experience managing BOMs and Engineering Change Orders.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with US teams and external suppliers.
