About the role
Our client in Marietta, GA is seeking a Dell PowerEdge Server Engineer for a one‑year contract. The consultant will work 100% onsite, supporting Dell PowerEdge server operations within a large data‑center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day data‑center activities and monitor equipment health (amber lights, hot doors, etc.).
- Escort dispatched field engineers when required and manage LOIS parts.
- Maintain documentation such as serial numbers, elevations, and runbooks.
- Coordinate maintenance activities (power, cooling, containment walls) with the customer.
- Perform BIOS lifecycle management, user additions, and patching.
- Triage with Dell support to schedule FSE break/fix activities.
Required profile
- Ability to work onsite 100% of the time.
- Experience with Dell PowerEdge rack or tower servers.
- Familiarity with iDRAC management.
- Hands‑on experience with RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems.
