About the role

Join the YMCA team as a Daytime Lifeguard, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for swimmers during the 9am‑4pm shift.

Key responsibilities

Monitor the pool area and maintain vigilant supervision of all swimmers.
Provide instruction and confidence‑building support to patrons.
Respond quickly and effectively to any emergency or safety incident.

Required profile

Engaging, cheerful, and helpful attitude.
Alert and safety‑oriented, able to anticipate hazards.
Decisive and able to enforce rules consistently.
Quick‑thinking and calm under pressure.
Problem‑solver who thrives in a noisy, dynamic environment.
Attentive and able to work without distractions.
