Dayshift Production Associate – Poultry Processing

About the role

Join Pilgrim’s production team on the dayshift and help deliver safe, high‑quality poultry products. You will work on a fast‑paced processing line, performing cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspection tasks while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment in line with USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation, report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Physical ability to work in cool temperatures (~40°F), stand 8‑11 hours, and lift 50 lb or more.
• Willingness to work close to other employees (less than 3 ft apart).
• Dependable, quick learner, and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Operation of poultry processing equipment.
• Ability to follow USDA and company food‑safety procedures.
