Database Architect

About the role

Reily Foods Company is looking for an experienced Database Architect to lead the design, development, optimization, and long‑term strategy of its enterprise data platforms. The role will shape scalable database solutions that support ERP, analytics, reporting, and operational processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain enterprise database environments, data warehouses, and integration frameworks.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance‑tuning strategies.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes using Python and modern cloud‑based data platforms.
• Lead development efforts with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar data‑engineering tools.
• Partner with ERP teams to support integrations, reporting, analytics, and operational data requirements.
• Manage environment deployments and releases within Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services and Power Platform Admin Center.
• Establish and maintain database standards, governance, security protocols, and documentation.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical mentorship to developers and analysts.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating enterprise‑scale database solutions.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Comfortable collaborating with functional users, ERP specialists, and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SQL (advanced query development, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Python for ETL/ELT development.
• Modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks).
• Enterprise ERP ecosystems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services and Power Platform administration.
