Data Visualization and Database Management Intern

About the role

This internship is based in the Office of the Director within the UN Division of Healthcare Management and Occupational Safety and Health (DHMOSH). You will support health‑related projects by creating data visualisations and assisting with database management, working either onsite in New York or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development of health‑related projects for DHMOSH.
• Create Power BI and other data visualisation reports using health‑related data.
• Monitor recent health policy developments relevant to DHMOSH.
• Prepare official documents, ensuring accurate grammar, content and formatting.
• Conduct research on medical, psychosocial policies and related internet sources.
• Draft and edit content for print, web and multimedia platforms.
• Support the organisation of special events and meetings.
• Perform any additional tasks requested by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a graduate program, final year of a bachelor’s program, or a recent university graduate.
• Demonstrated interest in United Nations work and commitment to its Charter ideals.
• Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
