Data & Strategy Analyst, Real Estate

About the role

Cerberus is seeking a Data & Strategy Analyst to support its Residential Opportunities platform. The analyst will expand analytic and modeling capabilities across the Residential Real Estate strategy, creating reports, modeling asset performance, and supporting research projects in a fast‑moving, start‑up‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data related to residential real estate, property management, and credit underwriting to generate actionable insights.
• Design and maintain data visualizations and presentations using PowerPoint, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI.
• Translate business scenarios and investment ideas into clear data problems, aligning objectives with appropriate cost functions.
• Own end‑to‑end projects, collaborating with portfolio managers, data scientists, and property‑management leaders to execute investment and operational strategies.

Required profile

• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, high‑ambiguity environment where priorities shift frequently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and adapt to evolving problem definitions.
