Data Product Owner – Hybrid (Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Data Product Owner to lead the definition, prioritisation and delivery of data products that enable enterprise analytics, reporting and operational decision‑making. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data assets are well‑designed, governed and aligned with corporate strategy. This position works on a hybrid schedule based in the Buffalo/East Aurora, NY area.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap and success metrics for curated data sets, KPI frameworks and dashboards.
• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed user stories, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers and analysts to design, build and maintain data pipelines and data‑lake solutions.
• Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies and quality expectations.
• Prioritise backlog, manage cross‑functional stakeholders and align releases with organisational priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis or product management.
• Strong understanding of data models, KPIs, dashboards and analytics tools.
• Experience with data governance and data‑quality frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and documentation skills.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export‑controlled information and residence in the Buffalo, NY area.
