Data Entry Specialist – Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are seeking a dependable Data Entry Specialist to support our accounts receivable operations in Bakersfield, California. You will work closely with accounting and sales teams to keep receivables up‑to‑date, resolve discrepancies, and provide accurate administrative support in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, cash receipts, and related account updates with high accuracy.
• Follow up on customer balances and collection activity, maintaining clear communication.
• Coordinate with AR staff and sales representatives to clarify payment issues and documentation needs.
• Review account activity, identify discrepancies, and report issues for timely resolution.
• Post transactions, reconcile balances, and ensure records remain current.
• Support sales adjustment processing and perform other account‑related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, accounts receivable, or related accounting support.
• Working knowledge of AR processes such as invoicing, payment posting, and collections support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate clearly across internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
• Confidence handling detail‑focused conversations with persistence and tact.

Required skills
