Data Entry Operator II

About the role

Tessera is looking for a motivated Data Entry Operator II to join its Central Issue Facility in Fort Hood, Texas. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports record‑keeping, customer service, and cash‑collection processes while maintaining a safe, inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and print clothing records in the computer system.
• Greet customers, answer phones, take messages, and provide routine assistance.
• Locate, retrieve, and transport physical records up to 1,000 feet round‑trip.
• Make copies of memos, adjustment documents, and other paperwork.
• Label, alphabetize, and file documents in cabinets.
• Inspect clothing records for accuracy and input data into CIF‑ISM for reporting.
• Process adjustment documents, sequence numbers, and match records by SSN or DOD ID.
• Assist with monthly inventories and cash‑collection activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with computers.
• Ability to organize and alphabetize files according to an established system.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and teamwork orientation.
• Physical ability to walk and transport records as described.

Required skills

• Experience with ISM (Information System Management) preferred
