Data Entry Operator – Cannabis Manufacturing

About the role

The Data Entry Operator supports the cannabis manufacturing facility by accurately capturing, organizing, and validating production and inventory data. This role ensures compliance with state regulations and internal standards while maintaining high data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Enter data from paper and electronic sources into company databases.
• Maintain and organize electronic files and source documents.
• Audit inventory control forms against METRC, Air Table, and internal systems to identify discrepancies.
• Create tags, manifests, and other required documentation.
• Retrieve reports and data extracts as requested by management.
• Escalate any data inconsistencies or compliance issues to supervisors.
• Support filing, storage, and backup of security and compliance records.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle overtime when needed.
• Commitment to adhering to company policies, state guidelines, and security standards.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
• Experience using database systems and inventory platforms such as METRC and Air Table.
• Fast typing speed (minimum 60 wpm).
• Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
