Data Entry Clerk – Film & TV Music Cue Sheets

About the role

We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support a Film & TV team that processes music cue sheets, handles copyright administration, and manages publishing registrations. The role involves reviewing, validating, and entering music‑related data into internal systems to ensure accurate ownership tracking and royalty allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Review, collect, and process music cue sheet information for film and television productions.
• Enter and maintain copyright, publishing, and work registration data in internal databases.
• Identify song ownership, writer information, publishing details, and usage data from cue sheets.
• Validate records and ensure data integrity according to established procedures.
• Support music registration and royalty allocation through accurate data management.
• Standardize and report cue sheet information, flag discrepancies, and research issues.
• Collaborate with coordinators, team leads, and department staff to complete daily operational tasks.
• Maintain documentation, reporting records, and other administrative materials.
• Assist with additional operational and departmental projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or operations preferred.
• Familiarity with music business, publishing, entertainment, or copyright processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new processes.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas preferred).
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Basic Adobe experience (optional).
