Data Entry & Calculations Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Data Entry & Calculations Clerk to join our team in Cairo, NY. The role supports New York school districts by accurately entering data, calculating special‑education costs and preparing reimbursement filings.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update and maintain student and financial data in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Calculate educational costs for students with disabilities and generate reimbursement requests.
• Prepare and submit reports on revenue generated from filings.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive education and financial information.
• Collaborate with district staff and internal colleagues to clarify data as needed.

Required profile

• High typing speed with strong accuracy for high‑volume data entry.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and standard office software.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with numerical data.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior data‑entry or school‑district experience is a plus.
