Data Entry Analyst

About the role

CGI is looking for a detail‑oriented Data Entry Analyst to join its Troy, Alabama office. The role supports business operations by accurately entering, validating, and maintaining critical data across multiple internal systems. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure data quality and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain data in internal databases and business systems with high accuracy.
• Review source documents to verify completeness and consistency before entry.
• Perform routine quality checks and correct data discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Organize electronic and physical records to support operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve missing or inaccurate information.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and service level targets.
• Generate reports and assist with data audits.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives aimed at data quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in data entry, administrative support, or records management.
• Strong attention to detail and high keyboarding speed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling confidential information responsibly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
