Data Engineer

About the role

You will join the engineering team behind a new mid‑market analytics platform, building the data foundations that power reporting, dashboards, and product insights for a B2B SaaS company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines for the analytics platform.
• Develop data ingestion and transformation processes for multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and analysts to define data structures supporting reporting and analytics.
• Monitor pipelines, investigate failures and performance issues, and improve data quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable data‑engineering language.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes and data‑quality practices.
• Experience with cloud‑based data infrastructure and ability to work independently in a remote, cross‑functional environment.
