Data Analyst – Financial Dashboards

About the role

We are partnering with a leading employee‑owned firm that delivers mission‑focused digital transformation services to government clients. The team is looking for a Data Analyst to support the financial operations of a national defense organization, creating and maintaining dashboards that drive budget execution and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain financial dashboards using Power BI to monitor budget execution.
• Apply expertise in financial policies, processes, and systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct data analysis and provide actionable advice to senior leaders.
• Prepare and present reports, briefings, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional staff to maintain situational awareness of financial issues.
• Support the development and response to formal staffing actions.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• 3–6 years of experience in budget/financial data analysis and dashboard development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Power BI for financial dashboards.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial management systems such as GFEBS and DEAMS.
