Cybersecurity Analyst – Security Operations & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team across several US locations. The role focuses on security operations, compliance, user support and incident response within a regulated defense and aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activity and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with phishing response, security awareness initiatives and provide guidance on secure practices to end‑users.
• Support incident triage, evidence collection, documentation and post‑incident follow‑up under senior supervision.
• Help administer endpoint protection tools, multi‑factor authentication, VPN access, email security and other core security controls.
• Contribute to compliance and audit‑readiness for CMMC, NIST SP 800‑171, DFARS, ITAR and the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support security projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, systems or network administration, or IT support.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, common threats and incident response concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly, document work accurately and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Salary range $72,000 – $88,000 per year.
