Cybersecurity Analyst – Global Investment Firm

About the role

The Cybersecurity Analyst will execute Soros Fund Management’s cybersecurity strategy across a global investment platform. This role involves configuring and monitoring security technologies, conducting risk assessments, and acting as a subject‑matter expert for internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to maturing a global cybersecurity program within a large investment firm.
• Evaluate and recommend cyber policies.
• Work with cyber tools and vendors to enhance security posture.
• Expand the security awareness function and drive user participation in training.
• Assist in triaging and investigating cyber events by analyzing audit and alert logs.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess and secure first‑ and third‑party code.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Evaluate external organizations through a third‑party risk assessment program.
• Integrate threat intelligence into existing toolsets.
• Perform internal and external penetration tests to ensure hardened environments.

Required profile

• Ability to work with cyber tools and cyber services vendors.
• Experience expanding security awareness programs.
• Experience triaging and investigating cyber events.
• Experience collaborating with development teams on code security.
• Experience conducting security assessments and penetration tests.
