Cyber Security Risk Analyst

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join its Information Security (ISNY) team. You will work onsite with technology squads, providing risk‑based guidance and ensuring the security of cloud‑based applications and mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cloud application security risk assessments and threat modeling.
• Execute application security testing for migration workloads, especially those supporting Markets operations.
• Conduct security design reviews and overall information systems risk management.
• Embed within development squads to provide real‑time security advice and manage the Security Champion Program.
• Maintain relationships with assigned business units and deliver assessments accurately and on schedule.

Required profile

• Individual contributor with experience working closely with technology teams.
• Proven ability to assess and mitigate cyber risks in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and guidance.
