Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Aaratech Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented Cyber Security Analyst to protect its systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The role involves continuous monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with industry security frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM platforms and other security monitoring tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyze system, application, and network logs, and detect anomalies.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, supporting containment, remediation, and recovery.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and work with IT teams to apply patches and security updates.
• Support implementation of security policies and assist with compliance requirements aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS frameworks.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Knowledge of network security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms
• Vulnerability scanners and assessment tools
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS security frameworks
