Cyber Security Administrator – Government Risk Specialist

About the role

Join Booz Allen as a Cyber Security Administrator and act as an information‑security risk specialist for military and government clients. You will translate complex cyber threats into clear mitigation plans, helping agencies protect mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess cyber risks for DoD and other government organizations.
• Interpret applicable policies and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
• Produce presentations, white papers, and milestone reports to guide clients.
• Review technical and personnel details to map the full threat landscape.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, translating security concepts into practical decisions.

Required profile

• Experience implementing and enforcing security controls for cloud infrastructure in line with DoD frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage security configurations, conduct penetration testing, and operate SIEM solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel or AWS Security Hub.
• Background in risk assessments, continuous monitoring, and mitigation planning for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Hands‑on experience with role‑based access control (RBAC) and least‑privilege policies for mission‑critical applications.
• Knowledge of the ATO lifecycle, including SSP, SAR, and POA&M documentation.
• TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or 5+ years of relevant experience.
