About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Contract Workforce (CW) Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia services in a hospital setting. This role supports patient care, quality improvement, and compliance with safety and vaccination policies.
Key responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients during procedures or surgeries.
- Conduct health risk assessments for patients.

Required profile
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or equivalent.
- Completed a third‑year anesthesia residency.
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Arkansas.
